The Project Management Team has
extensive experience in delivering
highly complex projects to both public
and private sectors clients in both
the broadcast and telecommunications
industries. The team are able to
draw upon varying skills, knowledge
and experience from all over the
world to assist in developing the
desired solution for the client.
The Project Management Team can
bring the client through the design,
licensing, installation and commissioning
phases of a project to achieve a
successful completion.
The types of projects the RTENL
Project Management Team are experienced
in completing successfully vary from
civil/structural erections, broadcast
transmission, transmission head-end,
transmission monitoring to IT and
Voice over IP data transmission across
multiple network platforms.
The Project Management Team have
developed new sites for broadcast
and telecommunications clients to
meet their network needs including
property procurement, planning permission,
design, licensing, installation and
commissioning phases of a project.
Project
Management
RTÉNL has many years experience
in the design, installation and maintenance
of masts, towers and supporting structure
and buildings. With towers ranging
in size from 10m to 110m in height,
and masts up to 300m tall, our engineering
team have unparalleled experience
in the management of such structures.

Broadcast Engineering
In the Analogue domain RTÉNL
has implemented four national television
transmission networks, five national
FM radio networks, three high-powered
national AM stations, an impressive
array of regional, local, and community
radio networks and a microwave link
system linking all the main sites
with a high level of redundancy.
In the Digital domain RTENL have
implementing a DAB network containing
the five national radio services
and DVB-H networks for presentation
purposes. RTÉNL are also assisting
the Department of Communications,
Marine and Natural Resources in implementing
a DTT Pilot television transmission
networks containing the four national
televisions services.
Engineering activities vary from
frequency planning, license management,
antennae design, head-end specification,
equipment design and procurement
to installation, commissioning and
validation.

The four national television services:
RTÉ1, RTÉ Network 2,
TV3 and TG4. On radio, we provide
transmission services to Today FM,
RTÉ Radio 1, RTÉ 2FM,
RTÉ Raidio na Gaeltachta and
RTÉ Lyric FM,.
We also provide services to regional,
local, and community radio broadcasters
including: Beat FM, South East Radio,
Radio Kerry, Clare FM, Ocean FM and
Connemara Community Radio
